In Long Beach…The Venice Institute of Contemporary Art (ViCA) and The Art Exchange (ARTX) present “Art in a New Place.” This exhibition features 39 works curated from artists featured in the ViCA 2017 Annual by Ron Nelson, Executive Director of the Long Beach Museum of Art and an Art Exchange board member. The exhibit includes drawing, painting, photography and sculpture from internationally known artists. Superchief Gallery L.A., offers a reception for Sarah Sitkin’s second solo exhibition. The show focuses on human bodies turned into wearable garments. March 15 – 18, 2018:

Saatchi Art presents the Other Art Fair. Making its debut at The Majestic Downtown, the Fair showcases work by 100 emerging artists, each hand-picked by a Selection Committee of art world experts.

Artist Gregg Chadwick will be exhibiting a selection of artworks from his traveling exhibition Mystery Train, which examines the mythos of America as seen through the physical and cultural history of the railroad in the United States. The artist will also be featuring a new series of works that engage the viewer in the story of Los Angeles, reaching right up to the Women’s Marches of 2017 and 2018. A new series of works on paper as well as small sized paintings will also be on view.

March 15, 2018:
The Venice Art Crawl is back for its quarterly event. Instead of having art events throughout the city, as past years, this year the VAC will focus on four specific areas, the first one being on Windward Avenue, between Windward Circle and the beach. In honor of Women’s History Month, the VAC will acknowledge Venice trailblazing women artists at the Legendary Women Artists of Venice event where Judy Baca, Jules Muck, Emily Winters, Meryl Leibowitz and others.
