October 31, 2022 (one Day Only): Calling all Dog Lovers…Stardogs Clubhouse will host its first annual “Howl-o-ween Dog Costume Contest and Pawty” between 1-6pm at their 8549 Santa Monica Blvd. location. CLICK HERE for more info.

Now thru October 31, 2022:  The Haunted Hayride kicked off on September 23, 2022. We have been listing this event since its early days, and watching this homegrown event explode has been amazing. There is even a 30-minute performance – The Monte Revolta Show. The Town Square of Midnight Falls is the epicenter of the festivities. While guests walk around between attractions or hang out to soak in the atmosFEAR various townsfolk from the Midnight Falls community roam the space interacting with guests and attending to their local business. Dying to drum up more business the local Mortuary is hosting an open house where guests can tour the property to see what offerings await their demise. Guests separated from their tour risk becoming the next customer of the sinister funeral home. October 1 – 31, 2022: The Halloween spirit will be in full swing for 31 frightfully fun days at the L.A. Zoo, where guests can enjoy spooktacular sights daily. Weekends are even sweeter, with treats like open-air live shows, animal pumpkin feedings, themed photo ops, education stations, and much more. On the last two weekends of the month (October 22/23 and 29/30), enjoy trick or treating stations featuring candies courtesy of LA Zoo partner, Mars. Costumes are encouraged! As of the posting of this article (Oct 1, 2022) the West Hollywood Halloween Carneval may not be happening. It’s a shame because it really is the best place to see these original outrageous costumes in person.
