Back to the Pick of the Week…Bergamot Station hosts the event, “30 Open Doors” from 5:00 pm till 10:00 pm tonight. You guessed it, most of the galleries will be open. So come spend the evening and enjoy this eclectic art scene.

Tonight’s event will celebrates their remarkable past, present and future as the centerpiece on West Coast art.

During 30 Open Doors, guests can view work by acclaimed artists at the nearly three dozen open galleries as well as the Santa Monica Museum of Art.

In addition, come explore all that Bergamot Station has to offer, including fine jewelry, handmade papers, fine florals, holiday gifts and more.

Be sure to pop into The Robert Berman Gallery to see their latest PST exhibition, Lost and Found/Abstracting Los Angeles 1945-1980. This historic gallery space (B-7) was home to the Patricia Faure Gallery, where well known artists gathered at notorious parties.

Lost and Found explores the work of obscure and renowned artists who helped spark the art movement in Los Angeles during the 1950s. This exhibition honors the legend of the Cool School days, born out of the famous Ferus Gallery. The focus of this exhibition is post-war works up to 1980.

In Culver City…Local singer/songwriter, Geoffrey J performs at Joxer Daly’s tonight at 9:00 pm till midnight. This will be a special performance with performers taking turns in a “rounds” format. Other performers/bands include The Trades as well as Xenia Dunford.

Originally from Tucson Arizona, Geoffrey J is known for his roots rock originals. Geoffrey has played local clubs, venues and festivals and gained much notoriety since his arrival in LA in 2010.

Joxer Daly’s offers a large selection of imported beers and drafts on tap as well as a full menu. The kitchen is open till 11:00 pm.

The Future Shorts Festival program features the most exciting award-winning short films from around the world. Featured alongside is a digital photo exhibition by Cole Rise, a San Francisco based artist and tech entrepreneur.
