LA County High School for the Arts (LACHSA), the number one arts high school in America, is hosting its 2024 LACHSA Gala on Saturday, April 27, 2024. The 7th Annual Future Artists Gala will be held at the AVALON Hollywood, one of Hollywood’s most historic landmarks. The event will spotlight special celebrity guests, as well as exciting student performances, cocktails, delectable food, and more. In addition, guests can enjoy an exclusive auction items from internationally renowned LACHSA artists, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences, 2024 LACHSA Gala.
2024 LACHSA Gala
Expect to see exceptional entertainment by some of the most talented student artists in LA County. LACHSA alum Finn Wittrock (The Big Short, LA LA Land, American Horror Story, and The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story) will be the host for the evening. Tony Barbieri from Jimmy Kimmel Live! will serve as live auction host.
Los Angeles Artist, iconic muralist, and LACHSA alum Robert Vargas will be honored with the LACHSA Luminary Award. Furthermore LACHSA will honor EMMY®, Tony®, and two-time Academy Award nominee, and four-time GRAMMY®-nominated actor John Lithgow and his sister Robin Lithgow with the LACHSA Arts Advocate Award for their incredible advocacy for arts education.
Lastly, renowned actor, writer, and LACHSA Foundation Board Member, Melina Kanakaredes is this year’s event producer and this year’s event raises funds to directly support the tuition-free arts education in addition to programming at LA County High School for the Arts (LACHSA).
LACHSA History
The premiere public arts high school opened almost forty years ago. The school is a conservatory-style incubator in dance, music, theatre, visual arts, as well as the cinematic arts. Moreover, it nurtures and also mentors its students in transformational ways. LACHSA has developed some of the finest talent in the world.
