In Koreatown…Wonzimer has teamed up with Bev and The Jenesse Center to bring you Made by Chicks! A group exhibition that will focus on empowering women through art and music created by women! The exhibition will showcase artwork by Ali Futrell, Page Kastner, and Hannah Cunningham.

Proceeds from artwork will help fund women affected by domestic violence through The Jenesse Center. This exhibition is crucial for raising awareness on issues like women’s rights, domestic abuse, wage discrimination and equal opportunity. International Women’s Day (IWD) was created to celebrate the cultural, social, economic and political achievements of women. It’s also a call to action for continuing to forge a gender-balanced world. The Downtown Glendale Association hosts an event at CBRE at the Masonic Temple for an afternoon of discussion and celebration from those who bring their own experiences and ideas in building a gender-balanced world and workplace. The ticketed event offers an afternoon tea, and both a panel discussion and breakout discussion with emcee JuliAnn Stitick, (Brand Experience Strategist & Motivational Speaker). *All proceeds will go to Ascencia, a non-profit organization that lifts people out of homelessness.
