In Venice, Photographer and former Los Angeles District Attorney Gil Garcetti’s moving photos will be showcased. His series “Water Is Key,” explores issues of safe water access in West Africa will be featured, as well as two of his other photographic series.

GaSat 9.28 VeniceArts GilGarcettircetti’s past experience in the court room of law and the court room of public opinion helped him to gain attention for the problem of safe water in West Africa and has spurred his other photographic projects.

Proceeds from the sale of work in teh exhibition will benefit Wells Bring Hope, a nonprofit organization committed to to drilling wells to bring safe water and good sanitation to rural villages in Niger, and Venice Arts, a nonprofit organization that offers free art mentoring workshops for low-income youth.
