Lois Lambert Gallery presents “Collisions” by artist Makan Negahban. The exhibition opened on September 10, 2022 and will remain on view through November 5, 2022.
About the exhibition:
In Negahban’s portraits, he combines painting and collage to create images of individuals that have touched his life. Negahban’s newest series addresses a more global, sociological view of the world. He depicts non-personal, imagined scenes on raw, unstretched canvas. With these new paintings, Negahban intentionally obscures the narratives and reflects on the experience of being human.
