If you missed all the openings that took place at the Bendix Building (1206 Maple Ave, LA, 90015) the early part of February – but you can still visit the galleries. Be sure to check the websites for hours.

515 presents an exquisite a solo exhibit of photographs titled “The Eyes of the City” by Richard Sandler. In his book The Eyes of the City, American photographer Richard Sandler showcases decades’ worth of work, proving his eye for street life rivals any of his generation.

Richard Sandler

These photos capture a complex time when beauty mixed with decay hints at unrecognized ghosts in the American psyche. His works represent a talent that stands alongside the best of his breed, such as Garry Winogrand, with whom he briefly studied. Sandler’s examination of street culture naturally evolved into documentary filmmaking. On view: February 8 – 29, 2020; Art Party: 6:30 – 9:30 pm; 515 is located at #515 (just in case you didn’t know); https://www.515bendix.com/
