Catalina Island Museum presents CIM Sessions, a series of virtual offerings and experiences through the museum’s social media platforms and website designed to connect and inspire people through arts and culture. Tune in with Catalina Island Museum on Friday, April 24, 2020 at 11:30am for a Live Q&A and musical performance featuring world-class violinist Nicole Garcia on the museum’s Instagram page @CatalinaMuseum. The museum and Garcia will discuss her music, career, how the current landscape is affecting musicians and what the new horizon will look like for artists, and include a live performance.

Garcia is a professional violinist and has performed as part of the musical accompaniment ensemble at the Catalina Island Museum’s Annual Silent Film Showcase in previous years. Most recently, she appeared on television for the Oscars with Eminem and shared the stage live with Lady Gaga and The Who. Garcia has performed, toured and recorded with renowned artists all over the world including Beyoncé, Paul Oakenfold, Alicia Keys and Will.I.Am, and appeared on TV shows such as Curb Your Enthusiasm, Ellen, The Tonight Show, Late Night with Conan, American Idol and The Voice. She also toured with Kanye West and Drake and performed at the Oscars, the Grammys and Coachella with many artists such as Justin Timberlake, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna.
