In Koreatown…Shatto Gallery debuts Temporal Being: Nature vs Human, an exhibition of ceramics works by YC Kim. The solo show spotlights three thematic sections and will include recent and older works by the artist.

DMST Atelier hosts a closing art party as well as a community feed for Joseph Sherman’s solo presentation SIKE! The solo show has had a successful run. Brassroots District celebrates its self titled album with Brassroots District: LA ’74. The immersive theater-concert takes place at Jewel’s Catch One and takes audiences back to the year 1974. Meanwhile, the band released a new single, “Takin’ Back Day Dreamin’,” featuring Robert Randolph. The release follows growing buzz around fan favorite “You Caught Me Baby.”

Written by Joanna Murray-Smith & directed by Max Mayer, it features Marcia Cross and Matthew Letscher. Synopsis: A sharp and authentic examination of love, betrayal, and the fragile agreements that hold marriages together. When a celebrated writer can’t seem to “do the right thing,” decades of loyalty, intimacy, and compromise unravel in a single evening.
