DowntownHospital of Emotions is an unusual installation located inside a former wing of St. Vincent Medical Center. Presented by House of Art and Dreams, ROYVA Group, and also St. Vincent Behavioral Health Campus, it transformed one of Los Angeles’ most historic hospital sites into a fully immersive, large-scale art experience.Read more about it on the Hospital of Emotions Feature.

Miracle MileCurator Hannah Sloan and Photographic Arts Council Los Angeles co-host an online art talk with Fabiola Menchelli. Born in 1983, the artist is based in Mexico City. West Adams

Shoshana Wayne Gallery debuts a solo show titled Nature Once Removed. The first first solo exhibition with the gallery, Heide Fasnacht brings us a new body of photo-based paintings built from archival photographs.

LEICA Gallery presents Arthur Grace: WTF? as well as Jim McHugh: Still At It. For the past few decades, both artists continued to push the boundaries of their own artistic practice. Severin Hallauer: New Skies re-opens at induction gallery’s new space tonight. The exhibition originally opened in August, however the gallery, and the exhibit has moved to a new location at the Granada Buildings in Koreatown, Los Angeles. This is the Mexico-City based Swiss artist’s first solo show in LA. It features recent works in addition to a new series, titled LONG HAUL (i’m only crying on…). The re-opening will be accompanied by a new performance. It’s opening night of Cinecon 62 Classic Film Festival at the Nuart Theatre. The weekend will be filled with classic screenings.
