Track 16 Gallery is launching an online fundraiser, S.O.S.: Flash Art Sale to Get Out the Vote!, to support Stacey Abrams’s organization Fair Fight (http://www.fairfight.com). The gallery, working with volunteers and participating artists, is hosting this online fundraiser in response to the urgent need for voters’ rights protections and to counter anti-voter suppression efforts. Artists have contributed selected works for an online sale hosted on track16.com/sos between Monday, September 28 – Thursday, October 8, 2020.

Following the September 18th death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the fundraiser’s organizing team came together to invite artists to donate works for an online “flash” art sale. In the first four days of extending the invitation, 86 artists had enthusiastically committed to participating. Notable contributing artists include Laura Krifka, Shepard Fairey, Robbie Conal, Alison Elizabeth Taylor, and Sandow Birk, among many more.

For the online flash sale, artists set their own prices (unlike an auction), with 100% of their sales going to Fair Fight. So that all proceeds can be directed to support Fair Fight’s efforts to protect voters’ rights, Track 16 Gallery will be covering the credit card merchant fees on every sale. To ensure that funds raised are put to best use in time for the November 3 election, the online sale will last ten days.

To view and purchase art during the S.O.S: Flash Art Sale to Get Out the Vote!, visit http://www.track16.com/sos anytime between September 28 and October 8, 2020. Art can be purchased online using a major credit card, and will be shipped to your designated location. Remember that 100% of purchases go directly to Fair Fight and its vital work around voter rights protections. http://www.track16.com
