David Kordansky Gallery celebrated new exhibition on September 17, 2022. Remember to check with the gallery for up-to-date covid protocols and guidelines – (proof of vaccination and masks MAY be required once again).

In the North Gallery, enjoy a solo exhibition by Ruby Neri. “Wall Works” features new wall-based ceramic sculptures and a major bronze sculpture, an eight-foot-tall form representing the artist’s first time working with the medium. These works push the limits of the ceramic medium that has been at the center of her practice for much of the last decade.

“Happier Than Ever” opens in the South Gallery. The solo exhibition of new work by Shahryar Nashat, features floor-and wall-based sculptures, including a selection of works from his newest series, Lover.JPEG, as well as a major video installation.

In the West Gallery, Aaron Curry’s “Metal Plastic Paint” features new outdoor and pedestal-based sculptures. Despite their monumentality, the sculptures on view are accessible and approachable, their sci-fi-infused otherworldliness tempered by a down-to-earth compositional sense that establishes connections with viewers on physical, intellectual, and intuitive terms alike.
