Open Mind Art Space is pleased to present its 5th Annual Anniversary Exhibition, in celebration of the gallery’s 5-year anniversary. The exhibition will open the weekend of Saturday, March 6, and Sunday March 7, 2021 and will be on view through March 20th by appointment only. Opening weekend will begin with an exhibition preview at the gallery on Saturday, March 6th from 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM, by appointment only. An outdoor art reception will be held the following day on Sunday, March 7th from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at nearby Good People Coffee Co. located at 11609 Santa Monica Blvd. The gallery will also be launching its new online shop featuring small artworks, limited edition prints, and gallery merchandise. A portion of proceeds will be donated to the non-profit organization, Feeding America.

Each year, Open Mind Art Space maintains a tradition of hosting an Annual Anniversary Exhibition to honor its artists who contributed to the gallery’s programming from 2016 to the present. For its 5th Annual Anniversary Exhibition, popular and new works by Open Mind artists will be featured, and works by newly selected artists will be introduced. Participating artists will include Matt Allison, Carl Baratta, Alexandra Chiou, Gioj DeMarco, Cathy Ellis, Margaret Griffith, Theresa Knopf, Alison Limtavemongkol, Vida Liu, Brian Mallman, Aline Mare, Chris Riggs, Bianca Turner, Matthew Usinowicz, Aurora Valentine, Andre Yi, Jody Zellen and more. 

The exhibition will feature original paintings, drawings, and mixed media works. Artworks will range in size up to 24 inches, and vary in price from $500 and less. Open Mind Art Space will be donating 10% of proceeds from print sales to Feeding America. The gallery will be launching its new online shop on its website featuring small works, limited edition prints, and gallery merchandise, all of which will be available for purchase at the gallery during the exhibition.
