The Los Angeles Art Association (LAAA) presents an online group exhibition titled “Gleaming Apollo,” featuring art by over 100 emerging artists. The event officially virtually opened on June 2, and will run thru June 11, 2020.

Here is a note from the gallery: As we all work to slow the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) by self distancing, Los Angeles Art Association remains committed to giving emerging artists exposure and access. Towards that end, we are celebrating the best of Los Angeles with an online exhibition.

The art of Frederika Roeder will be included in the group show. “I am thrilled to have my painting, Rays of the Sun featured, said the artist. Roeder’s work follows the Light & Space movement while finding its roots in the Southern California culture and environment. Rays of the Sun, pays homage to the power and impact of the sun on Southern California culture – from the languid, sun-bathed coastal beaches that gave birth to “California Dreaming'” and the “Surf Culture” to the gritty sun-baked streets of its cities which are deeply affected by the strife the nation is facing.

Rays of the Sun by Frederika Roeder; Clear French gesso, Belgian linen, fluid matte medium, pearlescence, Nova fluorescence. 40″ X 1.5″ x 30″ $2,500. A portion of all sales support Los Angeles Art Association
