In the Rampart District…Gabba Gallery (3126 Beverly Blvd., LA, 90057) offers four new solo shows by CANTSTOPGOODBOY, Lucas Raynaud, Nichole McDaniel, and Shlome J. Hayun. All four shows, curated by Jason Ostro and Elena Jacobson, will run through March 7, 2020.

CANTSTOPGOODBOY returns for his fourth solo show at Gabba Gallery, this time exploring “The Language of Flowers.” In this jubilant collection of floral works, the artist refreshes the timeless Still Life genre with his signature pop aesthetic.

Lucas Raynaud returns to Gabba with “Entitled,” a playful library of framed vintage books embossed with hilarious and unexpected titles. While the books appear faded and old, the humorous titles seared into their covers poke fun at issues that are decidedly “now.”

For her first solo show at Gabba, Long Beach artist Nichole McDaniel sets her sights on the skies with “Daydreaming.” Cloud formations drift across celestial color fields in these soothing and inspiring works. Join us for Daydreaming, and find yourself with your head in the clouds.

Shlome J. Hayun celebrates the tools of the artist’s trade in “Painting Homage,” his first solo show at Gabba Gallery. Spray cans are suspended mid-spray, frozen paint brushes seem guided by invisible hands, all atop brightly colored abstract backgrounds.

The opening reception is free and open to the public; no RSVP required. DJ Jonathan Williams spinning. Bar sponsored by Peroni. Tacos by Norma. Limited free parking behind 3125 Beverly Blvd (enter off Dillon), street parking, Uber/Lyft encouraged.
