Nothing is more romantic than falling in love over a candle-lit dinner in the city of lights! If you can’t find your way on a last-minute flight to Paris, dining at Church & State on Valentine’s Day is the next best thing. Executive Chef Tony Esnault and Chef de Cusine Sam Jung will be creating a Four-Course Tasting Menu for $90 per person that is sure to give you lots of butterflies inside.

Start your evening with a delicious Pomme Dauphine, also known as a crispy potato puff. Guests will start with the First Course and choose between a crisp and fresh Beet and Goat Cheese Salad, Hamachi Crudo served with fennel, watercress, blood orange and citrus vinaigrette or the Sunchoke Souptopped with brown butter, crouton and chives. But it’s the Second Course that will have you head over heels in love. Choose between the Forest Mushroom Tagliatelle’s with cremini, oyster mushrooms and topped with parmesan, Ora King Salmon served over roasted cauliflower and braised leeks, or the Strauss Family Farms Flat Grass-Fed Iron Steak prepared with a parsnip puree, baby carrots, pee wee potatoes and topped with a smoldering and bold Bordelaise sauce. It is also not a proper Valentine’s Day without something sweet to share with your sweetie, so indulge in the rich Chocolate and Raspberry Mousse prepared with cocoa nibs and fresh raspberries for the final, Dessert Course.

Church & State will be open for Valentine’s Day, Wednesday, February 14th, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm; 1850 Industrial Street, Los Angeles, CA 9002;213.405.1434; http://www.ChurchandStateBistro.com
