This year the Skirball Cultural Center offers a virtual Hanukkah Festival. The Festival of Lights online event will feature a heartwarming community candle lighting and a lively sing-along to get you feeling festive. Groove to the klezmer beat of LA’s own Mostly Kosher, jam to the psychedelic funk of Israeli superstar Gili Yalo, and gather ’round for a timely puppetry performance that retells the age-old Hanukkah story. If you tune in on Sunday, when the program premieres, you can participate in a virtual game for prizes.

Don’t miss out on latkes and treats to go! Swing by the Skirball before the YouTube premiere to pick up a dozen (or two) potato latkes with all the fixings or a box of sweets featuring raspberry sufganiyot (jelly doughnuts), cookies, and chocolate gelt. Preorder by Wednesday, December 9, 4:00 pm.

The event takes place on YouTube at 3pm Pacific, 5pm Central, 6pm Eastern. RSVP to receive a reminder email prior to the show with a link to stream the program. RSVPs will be taken through Friday, December 11, 12:00 pm (PT). https://www.skirball.org/
