Carmen Argote’s IN PROCESS
As part of ICA LA’s summer exhibition programming, the artist Carmen Argote will embark on the first in a series of collective actions with her invited collaborators. This new series will begin with a sequence of meditations that take place in the galleries with Carmen Argote as well as her mother, Carmen Vargas.
Current Exhibitions
On June 10, 2023, ICA LA debuted three shows: Carmen Argote: I won’t abandon you, I see you, we are safe, Alberta Whittle: between a whisper and a cry, and Trương Công Tùng. These exhibitions showcase groundbreaking artists who push boundaries and challenge conventions in their respective mediums. The summer exhibitions will remain on view through September 10, 2023.
Alberta Whittle will be coming from Glasgow, Trương Công Tùng from Ho Chi Minh City, and Carmen Argote from the nearby Boyle Heights so come see their exhibitions and say hello! As always, the event is free and all are welcome.
