On View thru April 12, 2026: The Fowler Museum, Fire Kinship

Fire Kinship: Southern California Native Ecology and Art opened at the Fowler Museum at UCLA in January 2025. It was a strange time for all of the residents of Los Angeles, as the LA Fired devasted so many people. Hence the official opening was postponed till the third week of February 2025. The exhibition is open and has been extended through April 12, 2026.  This is the second PST Art exhibition at the museum and is curated by Daisy Ocampo

Eva Montanari is a brilliant Italian illustrator as well as an author. Additionally, she has published several books. She was under lock-down in Rimini Italy, due to the Covid-19 health crisis at the time of this post. Thankfully she and her family made it through that horrible time, and all is well now. On View thru March 1 2026: Skirball Cultural Center Exhibitions

The Skirball Cultural Center presents its Fall 2025 exhibitions which run through March  2026. Both shows explore art, justice, tradition, as well as resilience. Skirball Fall 2025 Exhibitions Draw Them In, Paint Them Out opened on October 16, 2025. This exhibition brings together Philip Guston and Trenton Doyle Hancock. The Skirball Cultural Center premieres a retrospective exhibition celebrating iconic comic book creator Jack Kirby (1917-1994). The exhibition titled Jack Kirby: Heroes and Humanity spotlights works from his iconic six-decade career. The Skirball hosted an opening art party on April 30, 2025. However the exhibition runs through March 1, 2026.
