The Brixton is a trendy gastropub in Santa Monica. Several of our writers frequent it almost on a weekly basis. It’s been a while since I personally have been to the restaurant, but I am glad to see it survived the pandemic. You can read my review (from 2018) on LAArtParty’s Restaurant Reviews Page.  For more up-to-date reviews, be sure to visit our sister site EatTravelGo.com – See the Reviews drop-down, under the Dining/Drinking Page in the Stories Section.

Stop in to enjoy some Fish and Chips, (beer battered cod, lemon caper tartare sauce, and housemade french fries). The fish was fresh and flaky inside with a hearty delicious battered crust. Other popular menu items include Short Rib Melt, Beyond Burger Wrap, Reuben, Cobb Salad, and a traditional Caesar Salad.

Some of our staff favorites are the Fried Chicken & Biscuits (honey, carrot aji amarillo hot sauce) and another all American favorite – Mac & Cheese.  The Short Rib Poutine (braised short rib, house made fries, cheese curds, gravy, chives) – these are also discounted during happy hour.

Be aware the same happy hour (from our 2018 review) is NO Longer available at the Brixton, but discounted prices on specific menu items including cocktails, wine and beer is available during happy hour.

The Brixton is located at 2827 Pico Boulevard, Santa Monica, CA, 90405; https://www.thebrixtonsm.com
