One of his paintings from his series is titled Big Gems. “While I was making the black paintings, I made a series of blue works featuring chunky gem like shapes. This particular piece is intended as one of the centerpieces of my upcoming show. It’s about the search for beauty and the decisions we make as far is what we focus our energy on in our lives.”
