Also opening July 1, 2017 is a solo exhibition for the Osaka-born, Paris-based artist Takesada Matsutani. This exhibition is coinciding with the debut of his commissioned works at the 2017 Venice Biennale.

“Monika Sosnowska,” the first Los Angeles solo exhibition for the noted Polish artist. The exhibition features a new body of work that responds to characteristic elements of existing 1960s Polish architecture in sculptural installations that reflect and riff upon history and personal experience. Launch LA offers an opening for “Velocity,” a group show examining the enigmatic genre of abstract painting. Another one at Bergamot….William Turner Gallery presents “Peter Lodato: New Work.” A California native, Peter Lodato began making work in the late 1960s as part of the West Coast-specific Light and Space movement.
