In Palos Verdes…It is the second day of the Malaga Cove Art on the Lawn Show at Palos Verdes Art Center Artists (PVACA). All mediums will be featured at the event. Artists from seven art groups affiliated with Palos Verdes Art Center will participate: Artists Open Group (AOG), Pacific Arts Group, Paletteers, Peninsula Artists, Photographic and Digital Artists (PADA), Third Dimension, and The Artists’ Studio (TAS). Then in Venice…VHM (Venice Heritage Museum) kicks off its Local Photographers Speaker Series, highlighting the work of artists who portray Venice. Josh “Bagel” Klassman’s images are widely known for documenting Venice’s skate culture in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Marilyn Ramirez shoots the scenes and landscapes of Venice today. Finally, The Mint presents Jazz Sundays. The rotating selection offers the best in LA’s Jazz Music scene, and stay late for its Sunday residency with The Sam Hirsh Trio.
