In celebration of the 50 year anniversary edition of Penny Slinger’s iconic 1971 artists’ book 50% The Visible Woman and the final day of Slinger’s exhibition 50/50 at Blum & Poe, Los Angeles, enjoy a conversation with the artist, followed by a Q&A and book signing on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 2pm.

“50/50,” is a solo exhibition by Los Angeles-based artist Penny Slinger. This is the artist’s third solo exhibition with the gallery coincides with the fifty-year anniversary of Slinger’s iconic 1971 artists’ book and collage series 50% “The Visible Woman” and celebrates the milestone with a new and expanded edition of the publication. 

With never before exhibited selections from this historical body of work, alongside new compositions, Slinger shares her long-standing investigation into the mapping and unveiling of the feminine subconscious.
