Parisian restaurateur Michèle La Porta created and served “The Cool,” a cake with no sugar, no flour, no eggs, no butter and no fat, which became known as the “STARLETTE CAKE™” due to its popularity among Parisian stars…

Head to San Pedro for a fun artwalk. I have been to several times, really fun. There is an Artwalk tour which starts at 6:30, meeting at the San Pedro Chamber of Commerce, 390 W. 7th Street.

Park free at Ports O’ Call near the San Pedro Art Association (open First Thursday), Berth 77, just north of the Ports O’Call Restaurant. The Red Car Trolley will pick you up there, and take you to (and from) downtown San Pedro. It runs from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m.
