3.15 VeniceBeachBikeTours nVenice Beach Bike Tours, led by Venetian Bryan Moss Freeman. Bicyclists will be led on an entertaining and insightful journey through the art crawl, stopping at all the participating events and sharing the history, landmarks and legends of Venice with you along the way.

The meet-up time is 5:40 pm at 1501 Ocean Front Walk, end of windward.

Tonight at Venice Breeze Suites, come enjoy the first of a yearlong photography series, entitled “Luminous.” This new series will feature prominent and up-and-coming photographers from Los Angeles. Photographer Sunny Bak curates the first show.

T3.15 latenighthis month, “Late Night” photographer Marc Karzen (see image to right), will be showing some of his iconic photographs from the early days working with David Letterman and his creative team.

Karzen will be joined by a much younger photographer Zach Marks, an aspiring photographer who has overcome chemotherapy and legal blindness to take beautiful images that capture the innocence of youth while also reflecting an eye that’s wise beyond his years.

Also, a special exhibit “Nuestra Venezuela: Un Momento Otra Vez,” featuring Discovery Channel photographer Ross Alexander Wilson (see image, below, left), and curator and local artist Catherine Shores with images from her late father, Andrew B. Nemes, will also be featured.

The collection follows two photographers, more than 50 years apart, as they shot the rugged vast terrains and habitats of Venezuela.

Other featured photographers in the “Luminous” series this month at the Venice Breeze Suites include David Zentz, Sunny Bak and Andrew Bond.

There will also be live music on the roof. As always snacks and wine for all to enjoy!!!
