We’ve got lots going on here in LA plus more art walks in Laguna Beach and San Pedro.

If you are in the San Pedro area, they offer a lovely artwalk, which I have been to several times. Each month the Artwalk tour starts at 6:30, meeting at the San Pedro Chamber of Commerce, 390 W. 7th Street.

TheThurs 10.4 SanPedro1st Thursday First Thursday Artwalk Tour for April will visit a special penthouse residence, a gallery, and even a Cabaret.  The Penthouse entrance is through cast bronze elevator doors originally in the Cooper Bldg. downtown Los Angeles. The free one hour guided tour leaves the Chamber of Commerce, 7th & Mesa, at 6:30.

A special event is happening before the tour starts that you might want to attend. A free public reception will be held at the Warner Grand Theatre from 5:00 to 6:30 to honor local sculptor of the Rosa Parks statue commissioned by the U.S. Congress.

Park free after 6:00 downtown, and always free at Ports O’ Call near the San Pedro Art Association (open First Thursday), Berth 77, just north of the Ports O’Call Restaurant.  The Red Car Trolley will pick you up there, and take you to (and from) downtown San Pedro.  It runs from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. The Red Car Trolley will pick you up there, and take you to (and from) downtown San Pedro.
