Green Festival, the nation’s largest and most trusted environmental consumer event makes its return to Los Angeles on November 17-18, 2012 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The event will host eco-innovators, over 100 renowned speakers including hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons, celebrated Ashtanga teacher, Shiva Rea, Food Revolution author, John Robbins and Ed Begley Jr.; artists, community leaders, green business experts, and socially responsible exhibitors including bilingual programming.

Green Festival is widely recognized as the largest marketplace of conscious businesses as well as a great place to find the latest in sustainable products and Fair Trade gifts perfect for holiday shopping. At the center of it all is a unique marketplace of more than 300 eco-friendly businesses, featuring the latest and greatest sustainable products and services. From eco-fashion showcases to slow food cooking demonstrations, Angelenos will learn how to lead a “green” lifestyle and live more sustainably. Using the co-producer’s, Green America, green business standards, the festival is the only national sustainability event that screens exhibitors for their commitment to social justice, sustainability and ecological balance.

This year, FORD Motor and Green Festivals have partnered to fund a $5,000 Community Green Grant. Festival attendees will be invited to vote for their favorite project at the FORD Community Green Grants Booth at the show.
