WUMarch 10 FinalLACMA holds an a lecture with Dr. Burglind Jungmann, professor of Korean art history at UCLA and curator of the exhibition, “Life in Ceramics: Five Contemporary Korean Artists.”

The show was on view at the UCLA Fowler Museum and the University of Michigan Museum of Art in 2010-2011. Jungmann, will explore the role of Korea’s rich ceramic tradition in inspiring contemporary artists and the fluid character of ceramics both as functional objects and as works of art.
