The show features the work of Jennifer Bain, Eric Nash, Anthony Mastromatteo, Tracey Sylvester Harris, Clay Vorhes, Nina Jun and Bradley Hankey.

The studio of artist Jennifer Bain is located in close proximity to a natural park. Here…surrounded by wildlife, and all breeds of birds, she finds inspiration for her paintings.

Eric Nash has paid homage to Hollywood inspired scenes and has attracted the attention of many actors, producers, filmmakers as well as beside the scenes high powered people. The list includes Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi, Jerry Bruckheimer, Orlando Bloom, Mena Suvari, Hillary Duff, Alexandra Balahoutis and many more.

In her paintings, T.S. Harris presents a dazzling vision of California that merges the past with the present.

IPOW-Skidmore-tracey-sylvester-harris-beach-in-wintern an ironic twist, two recurring themes are her love of water and her love of Hollywood. The series of paintings entitled Lost Holiday are inspired by found, black and white photos from the forties and fifties.

The paintings transform long forgotten memories into vibrant light and color. Although bright, the paintings are bittersweet in their depictions of fleeting moments of summer captured almost a lifetime ago.

The exhibition will remain on view through August 31, 2014.
