Stripe Café and Palos Verdes Art Center, together with Brouwerji West, present an end of summer backyard bbq party to be held Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Stripe Café and PVAC.

Beginning at 1pm and continuing to 6pm, the event features barbeque by Chef Daniel and music by Dennis Robicheaux & the Sophisticates, playing a blend of experimental psychedelic and alternative country, folk, blues & rock. Also playing is garage pop band Steppe Bison and singer-songwriter Carlos Michael Gutierrez’s project, CMG + We Are The Night, fusing the introspective soul of Lou Reed, the crooning of Elvis Costello, blended with the California Canyon folk-rock style. Accompanying the event is a pop-up art installation by Jill Smith.
