Van Nuys Arts Festival (VNAF) #VNAF2019 takes place this Friday September 27, from 5 – 9 PM at the Van Nuys Civic Center. Presented by L.A. City Councilwoman Nury Martinez, this year’s theme is “VNAF: THE GLOW UP” with a focus on the arts, tech, nature and empowerment! Partnering with local San Fernando Valley Artists and Arts organizations, this creative and exciting event will feature: art, music, food and plenty of fun for the whole family with free admission. Yes, free admission! Special thanks to the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs.

Artists will include: Debi Cable, Black Light King, Todd Moyer and Darlene Kerns presenting a glow nature garden. Glow in the Dark face painting by Nitai Aleksiewicz. Special Live Performance by Selena Quintanilla tribute band Selenamos, alongside DJ & Host DJ Les Ortiz plus performances from The Gr818ers Dance Crew, Champs Charter High School of the Arts & Panorama High School.

Event Co-Producers are Fusicology and Dot RedThis year’s partners include: LACMA, CSUN Art Department, 11:11 A Creative Collective, Discovery Cube LA, MOLAA, Tia Chuchas, Lyft Scooters, Metro, Mission College Art Department, with support from High Tech LA Middle School & Vista Middle School and Sports Medicine Magnet.
