Presented by Saatchi Art on September 21 – 24, 2023, The Other Art Fair the 10th edition of its LA fair is  returning to the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica.  The event includes celebrity guests, installations, workshops and more.

The Other Art Fair connects independent artists with thousands of art lovers in a welcoming and creative environment. The LA Fair promises boundary-pushing yet always-affordable artworks with immersive installations, performances, music, food, drink and much more! Not to mention the event supports local artists with 49% of the artists exhibiting being based in Los Angeles/SoCal.

 

The Other Art Fair

The opening night takes place on Thursday, September 21, 2023 and the fair runs through Sunday, September 24, 2023. Admission for opening night event ranges $50/$55 (Plus FEES for both); GA – Friday – Sunday runs from $20-$30 (depending on the day). Visit the website for more info.

September 21-24 2023 The Other Art Fair’s program includes:

  • Celebrity Guest Charles Michael Davis
    • Well-known for his work in front of the camera and on acclaimed television series. Credits include The Originals as well as Grey’s Anatomy. He joins The Other Art Fair to exhibit his work behind the camera as a Los Angeles-based Photographer. Fair attendees will have the exclusive opportunity to have their own portraits taken by Davis himself during the show.
  • Enjoy Live vinyl DJ sets throughout the weekend. Sets are programmed by dublab, a public internet radio station dedicated to the growth of music, arts, and culture.
  • Hands-on workshops will be available in the Fair’s Residency Space. These include embroidered Polaroids by Bret Watkins, sign painting techniques by Jenna Homen, and risograph-based printing by Print Shop LA’s Mich Miller and Jayes Caitlin.
  • Delicious local eats and refreshments, in addition to healthy fare from StopBy Café, Arrvo Coffee, and a full Fair bar.
  • “Fair Director’s Picks to showcase exceptional work by outstanding exhibitors; curated collections of works priced under $500; as well as a tour and text message-based recommendations from Saatchi Art’s curators.
