bG Gallery has moved…It’s back at Bergamot Station – The Grand Re-opening of the new gallery space took place on Saturday, September 21, 2019….it was a fabulous art party! bG Gallery also celebrated its 10-year anniversary and the opening reception of its exhibit “10” and “The Room.” Stop by the gallery to experience an immersive still life exhibit as well as “10” to celebrate the anniversary – one 10 x 10 work for each artist that has had a solo show over the years was featured.
“The Room” will feature the construction of an immersive, life-sized living room pieced together from the works of various artists. An exploration of contemporary still life and object painting, the exhibit is both an installation and a group show built from contemporary still life object paintings.
A wonder of modern living creating an immersive simulacra of a living room punctuated by examinations of the home and the still life. Living rooms are often where one feels most comfortable in their house, leading to the common designation of it as a “den.” It is also a place of entertainment and the entertaining of guests, and a focal point for the display of design and artistic proclivities.
The gallery is open from Tues. to Sat. from 11:30am – 6pm at Bergamot Station, next door to the Bergamot Cafe.
