Klowden Mann presents its first solo exhibition by Los Angeles-based artist Jamison Carter, “White Light from Dark Matter.”
The exhibition features sculptures constructed with wood and plaster, and works on paper combining monoprint and highly structured ink line. The work investigates the tension between divergent materials, and the dialogue between directed action, amorphic form, spontaneity and control as they function across mediums.

A Window Between Worlds (AWBW) hosts Artworks for Healing, an elegant and heartfelt gala tonight, from 7-10 pm, at The Peninsula Beverly Hills.
Artworks for Healing is an annual event and the signature fundraising event for A Window Between Worlds’ art programs and socially engaged art projects, which give voice to survivors of domestic violence.
The evening will feature more than 50 exceptional original works created by Los Angeles-based artists including Sophia Gasparian (see image), Yolanda Gonzales, Nina Jun, and Margaret Lazzari, exhibited for purchase.
Be aware that all of the works have been anonymously donated by the artists. For an opportunity to own these specially commissioned and curated works, and to support AWBW on this heartfelt evening.
