Also in Venice…The Venice Beach Surf n’ Skate Festival takes place today at the site of the Friday Venice Farmer’s Market Lot, located at 2150 Dell Ave. – Venice.
The event will feature live music, vendors, a beer garden, food trucks and more.
I’ll be performing (Kathy Leonardo) with The Venice Street Legends. We’ll be performing many of the same duets as “The Country Legends.” So come on by and hear some Johnny Cash and June Carter as well as Patsy Cline, Hank Williams and more.
The Venice Street Legends feature Greg Cruz, on guitar and vocals, Petr Hromadko on stand up bass and Mitch Montrose on drums.

Schomburg Gallery, enjoy a juried exhibition, “Malibu Art Association: Still Life and Beyond.” Founded in 1963 by local artist Marjorie M. Knowles, the Malibu Art Association’s (MAA), mission is to support, inspire, and develop the Spirit of Art for all.

In the Miracle Mile, West Hollywood area…
Martha Otero Gallery celebrates the work of artist Gregory Euclide in his first exhibition with the gallery.
Euclide will showcase new work consisting of landscape relief paintings along with a series of porcelain-coated steel specimens painted with Japanese Sumi ink. His sculptural diorama-like wall pieces resemble scale-models employed primarily by landscape architects.

Greene Exhibitions presents Marcus Herse: Galleria. The title comes from a series of videos Herse created at various commercial complexes in the greater L.A. area.
In
this new body of work, the artist navigates the interior spaces of shopping malls, seeing the public carrying out its actions on this elaborately constructed stage.
The gallery will be transformed into a viewing room to feature a selection of different videos from the series throughout the run of the exhibition.

Corey Helford hosts an opening reception for “Ray Caesar, New and Rare Work,” in their newest gallery CHG Circa (steps from their main gallery). The exhibition features Ray Caesar’s digital art work highlighting a decade of vibrant persona.
