Paris Photo Los Angeles, the second US edition of the world’s most celebrated photography fair, will present exhibitor content by 81 international galleries and bookseller participants. The fair will be held at Paramount Pictures Studios from April 25-27, 2014. Concurrently, many significant exhibitions that resonate with the spirit of Paris Photo Los Angeles will also be on view in and outside of the city.

DENNIS HOPPER TRIBUTE: Paris Photo Los Angeles and The Hopper Art Trust* announce a specialtribute to the renowned actor/director and artist Dennis Hopper. A presentation of Hopper’s photographic work will be on display for the duration of the fair, and a rare screening of his 1971 film, The Last Movie, winner of the Critics Prize at the Venice Film Festival, will be presented in one private VIP as well as one public screening at the fair. Guests will view the final re-mastered version of the film completed by Hopper in 2007, marking its first public screening since Hopper’s death.

BMW Art Car by David Hockney: For Paris Photo’s second edition in Los Angeles, BMW is proud to present the 850CSi Art Car by David Hockney. Almost 20 years after its creation in 1995 the Art Car returns to its roots in LA, the city that has been Hockney’s hometown for more than 40 years.

Leica Camera’s Celebration of 100 Years of Photography: Leica’s booth will feature rare classic black and white photographic prints from the Classic Leica Collection including Magnum photographers Henri Cartier-Bresson, Sebastio Salgado, Constantine Manos, Rene Burri and other masters which will represent the “Then.” These prints will transition into digital medium format large scale color prints by EJ Camp from her body of work entitled “SEA” which will represent the “Now.” Lise Sarfati will do a book signing of her new book SHE on Friday.
