The Pan African Film & Arts Festival (PAFF) is back on February 6 -19, 2024. Running across two weeks, this celebration of film, art and culture marks the 32nd year. The annual event will take place at the Cinemark Baldwin Hills & XD as well as Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza in Los Angeles.

PAFF will present film screenings, industry panels and social events all centered around the Black experience. The event features more than than 140 film screenings, including Q&As and in-depth discussions with attending filmmakers from all over the globe.

PAFF ArtFEST

Additionally, PAFF hosts an ArtFEST which will spotlight over 100 established and emerging fine artists and unique craftspeople from all over the world. The artistic aesthetic of the art exhibition is rooted in Africa and its Diaspora. The selected artists present their creative works in various media. This includes: oil on canvas, watercolor and pastels, acrylic paper, glass, ceramics, metal, cloth, plastic, wax, wire, leather, and stone.

Zebi Designs

Zebi a talented painter & ceramicist will be exhibiting work once again this year. Originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, Zebi received her Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design. The artist also studied architecture and classic sculpture.

After living in London for a couple of years, Zebi traveled around Europe, Asia and Australia. She finally settled in Los Angeles in 1986.  Then in 1991, she started her career as a ceramist which has gained her much recognition. Find out more on her website – http://zebidesigns.com
