Saturday, November 5th, artist Sona Mirzaei will participate in a group exhibition and gala event produced by BRANDED ARTS at Smashbox Studios in Hollywood! Last year’s event featured live performances by MACY GRAY and other artists and was attended by more than 1200 people including politicians, athletes, and celebrities!!

This year’s red carpet event will be held at Smashbox Studios in Hollywood. It will include an art exhibition with live painting and music and a special guest DJ Set by SAMANTHA RONSON! A $20.00 donation to Witness To A Dream Foundation will give you full access to a star studded evening. A portion of the proceeds of all sales will go to Witness To A Dream Foundation and The Terry Brand Book Scholarship. Both nonprofit organizations mentor inner city kids and help them to pursue their dreams.

BRANDED ARTS curates art exhibition openings by featuring some of the most renowned and emerging artists of our time. As one of LA’s rising star contemporary artists, Sona Mirzaei is excited to be participating and exhibiting some of her never before seen work as part of this exclusive event! Sona is also gearing up for her solo show opening featuring her exclusive new collection on Saturday, December 10^th at Seyhoun Gallery in West Hollywood.

For her exhibition on November 5^th at the BRANDED ARTS event, Sona will include a piece The Ides of March from her ongoing Roman series. She strives to create powerful, complex and richly beautiful works of art that keep within the place and time they evoke in that enchanting part of the world. Sona Mirzaei is a true visionary and her passion for art transcends the competitive nature of the international art scene.

There will also be a special contest. Contestants are invited to get creative and design the official musical staging backdrop, which will be produced and featured as part of Samantha’s DJ set at the event. The winning design will be selected by Warren Brand of BRANDED ARTS, and guest judges: Brandon Shigeta, photographer of acclaimed fashion blog Hypebeast.com, Kim Luangraj, Director of LeBasse Projects Gallery, and renowned artist, David Paul Flores. CASH PRIZES! Over $1000 in prizes will be given to the winner.
