C Gallery on Broadway presents “It Takes a Village” featuring sculptures by the artist, Karin Swildens.

Karin was born in the Netherlands, raised in Morocco and studied art at “Les Arts Décoratifs” in Paris; her art-deco pieces are reminiscent of her European background. She worked on the restoration of “Le Louvre Museum” paintings and she has developed her own vocabulary of shapes: Women to express feelings, “Horses” to show strength and intuition, carved “Eggs” for new beginnings, and “Doors” to let go of past experiences.
