In Chinatown…Stanley’s hosts a closing and walk-thru of Los Angeles-based artist Nick Angelo’s current exhibition titled “Reality Becomes a Playground” at 12:30pm. RSVP not required but recommended. These new “stage paintings” posit different points of contact for the artist’s personal insecurities related to the contemporary world, while reflecting society’s impositions on the self through free-enterprise, commodification, public policy, and popular culture.
