The VeroTalk series continues with a fundraiser featuring Sommelier Yannick Benjamin and co-founder of Wine on Wheels and Spanish winemaker Moises Casas of Ecce Vinum, on Wednesday March 24 (5pm ET / 2pm PT).
Purchase the Ecce Vinum Wine on Wheels Tasting Duo to taste along with Yannick and Moises and Vero will donate 20% of the sales to Wine on Wheels.
Featuring wines from Vero’s Spanish estate winery, Ecce Vinum, this VeroTalk is a fundraiser that will be moderated by Yannick Benjamin, Head Sommelier at The University Club, co-founder of Wine on Wheels and opening up his first restaurant, Contento NYC.
While exploring the region of Castilla La Mancha, Spain with Ecce Vinum founder, owner and winemaker Moises Casas, Yannick will guide us in a tasting of two of Ecce Vinum’s organic and vegan wines, a white Verdejo and red Tempranillo. Moises believes in creating wines that truly sing the flavors and scents of the region: using native yeasts and artisanal techniques, he has created some wonderful wines that ‘over deliver for the price’ (as our clients say).
20% of wine sale proceeds from this VeroTalk will go to support Wine on Wheels, which Yannick co-founded after experiencing first hand the challenges people with disabilities face after he was paralyzed in an accident. Working with wine lovers and wine industry professionals, Wine with Wheels is dedicated to connecting people to empower people with disabilities to follow their passions.
