Country Pop Artist Eileen Carey will be opening for the legendary singer/songwriter Don McLean (American Pie, Starry Starry Night, etc.,) on Saturday March 23, 2019 at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills. Eileen Carey’s renowned showmanship will entice her very loyal fans, as well as new ones alike. She will be singing her current hit single, “Anything That Reminds Me of You,” which has swept the #1 spot on all of the top New Music Weekly charts, including Country, the AC/Hot AC, and their Top 40 charts. “Anything That Reminds Me of You” is the sixth Country single of Eileen’s to go #1 on the NMW radio charts within the last few years. She will additionally be singing some of these chart-topping favorites, like “That Town” and “Good Bad Girl.”
The Cleveland, Ohio native now lives in Los Angeles where Eileen Carey has become a fixture in the city’s bubbling music scene. In 2016, she was named the Independent Radio Networks “Crossover Artist,” followed by a string of wins in the Los Angeles Music Awards, where she was crowned the 2016 “Female Country Artist,” and the 2017 “Live Country Music Performer.” Also in 2017, the singer snatched the National Radio Hits award for “Favorite Female Country Artist of the Year.” Most recently, New Music Weekly voted Eileen its 2018 “Breakthrough Country Artist of the Year,” and received the 2018 Producers Choice Honors Award for “Female Solo Country Artist of the Year,” a prestigious event held at the Hard Rock Live in Las Vegas. This year New Music Weekly nominates Carey once again, this time for four awards.
Eileen Carey performs regularly in Nashville at the world-famous Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, Rippy’s, and Honky-Tonk Central. In 2018, Carey shared the stage with a slew of headliners, including Rita Coolidge, Jefferson Starship, and Martha Davis and The Motels. She will additionally be opening for famed Blues guitarist Albert Lee in April, as well as the legendary female rock trio, Wilson Phillips, in June at The Rose in Pasadena (Saban’s sister venue).
