TAG Gallery hosts a special fundraiser on June 23 from 3pm-5pm. Lyme Away 3: Help Nicole Saari and Baby Aaron Saari Win the Fight Against Late Stage and Congenital Lyme Disease will help raise funds for singer-songwriter and young mother who is the daughter of art writer Genie Davis.
Nicole contracted undetected Lyme 8 years ago on a camping trip and is now undergoing long term treatment; 3-year-old Aaron contracted the disease in utero and we hope will soon be completing his treatment.
Despite an ongoing epidemic in the U.S., Lyme disease is not recognized as a condition by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), so little to none of the complex treatments – which cost more than $1,000 a week and last at least two years – is covered by insurance; with Nicole unable to work, this family needs help.

Artist Linda Sue Price is one of the artists donating a portion of her sales to this important cause. “I am honored to co-host Lyme Away 3 at TAG gallery—a fundraiser to support the medical expenses of Nicole Saari.”
