Head to 18th St. Arts….Each Friday evening starting at 5 pm, Patricia Fernández will present a performative lecture.

She will explore in greater depth a specific personal narrative or regional history connected with the memory archive she is creating for Points of Departure (between Spain and France).

As Fernández makes objects that re-perform the experiences and memories of interviewees to create a non-linear narrative of historical events, so do her lectures in the gallery re-create these experiences and memories as a form of oral history.
