Art Palm Springs is the premier art fair in the Southwest presenting post-war and contemporary art. This year’s 9th edition will brings galleries from Asia, Europe, North and South America representing hundreds of artists to the Palm Springs Convention Center.

The Fair is strategically scheduled over the extended President’s Day Weekend coinciding with Palm Springs Modernism Week at the height of the Coachella Valley’s season.

Art Collector Jordan Schnitzer is being honored as the 2020 Patron of the Year. The ceremony will take place in the Collector’s Lounge theater during Art Palm Springs’ opening night vernissage on Thursday, February 13, where a portion of the proceeds from the VIP reception will be donated in support of a local organization. A passionate collector and philanthropist, Schnitzer bought his first art work at age 14 from his mother’s art gallery in Portland, Oregon. He has gone to build a collection that exceed 13,000 works by today’s most important contemporary artists that’s grown into the country’s largest private print collection. Schnizter also serves as the president of Harsch Investment Properties, a privately-owned real estate investment company based in Portland, Oregon.

Old Town Artisans Studios is this year’s Opening Night Beneficiary. Old Town Artisan Studios is committed to providing positive art experiences for all people despite age, disability, or financial condition. They are instrumental in spreading art and art experiences throughout the Coachella Valley.

Admission ranges from $25 – $100 plus service fee (latter includes opening event).

Opening Art Party takes place on Thursday, February 13, 2020, from 5 – 9pm

Parking is $8 per day (includes in/out with proof of event ticket upon return).
