Thinkspace Projects hosted an opening art party to celebrate new exhibitions on February 4, 2022. Not to worry if you missed the opening, the public can view the exhibitions through February 25, 2023.

Gallery I – Yasuhito Kawasaki’s debut North American solo exhibition: Hello Bear-Chan! Paintings and ceramics, Kawasaki is experiencing a meteoric rise with collectors around the world; his sculptures of children, each a self-portrait on some element of himself.

Gallery II – Into the Wild. Group exhibition curated by Jean Claude Geraud, founder of City of Talents, Toulouse. Full of childhood memories, nostalgia, vivid colors, and forgotten worlds.

Gallery III – Noritoshi Mitsuuchi: Phenomenon. Works reminiscent of Japanese folklore and European fairy tales, aspects of childhood that fall away with the responsibilities of adulthood.

Gallery IV – Caroline Liu’s Stages of Grief. The painter, muralist, and fiber artist explores her personal memories following a severe concussion that left her short term memory damaged.

On View: February 4 – February 25, 2023; Tues.-Sat. Noon to 6pm
