Healing Arts Reaching Kids (HARK) presents its annual ROCK FOR HARK in support of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles with a “live” event at Catalina Bar and Grill in Hollywood on Sunday, December 5. Hosted by the wonderfully witty comedian Wendy Liebman and presenting the dynamic singer songwriter Danny McGaw and The 33 with special guest TD Lind.
Healing Arts Reaching Kids (HARK) is an all-volunteer group that provides both hands-on and financial support for the Expressive Arts Therapies Department at CHLA. HARK provides year-round art supplies for patients and staff throughout the facility which they have continued to do during the pandemic. Soon HARK volunteers hope to resume their in person, hands-on art workshops and other guided activities that foster creativity and allow kids to express themselves.
HARK is rolling out the red carpet for guests to enjoy its first live event in 2 years at Catalina Bar and Grill on December 5th. Donors can join the festivities starting at 5:30pm for an Art Show with hosted wine and appetizers, followed by dinner and the show at 7:30pm. A live stream of the event will be made available for those unable to join in person.
Rock for HARK tickets are $125 each and are available through www.healingartsreachingkids.org
