On April 9, and 10, 2021, Corey Helford Gallery premiered new exhibitions – Redd Walitzki’s “The Days of Miracle and Wonder” and Bao Pham’s “Summer Hues,” and CHG’s “15 Year Anniversary Group Exhibition” in the main gallery. Don’t fret if you missed the debut, the shows are now available to view online (on the gallery’s website and Facebook page) or in-person during the gallery’s visiting hours (Thurs.-Sat., 12pm-6pm) through May 15, 2021.

Here is some info about the artists and the exhibitions:

Redd Walitzki utilizes a cutting-edge technique that combines oil painting and mixed media on laser-cut panels and takes inspiration from the Pacific Northwest’s lush rainforests and the ornate Baroque ornamentation of Bavaria to create pieces that commemorate a moth’s four-week-long lifespan. The vivid muses are often painted in fashionable garb and glamorous settings that are a façade, hiding underlying themes of ecological destruction.

Bao Pham’s art is instantly recognizable for his soft, precise, and colorful portraits of wistful and melancholic figures set in lush natural settings. He incorporates eastern elements and designs using traditional western techniques with a touch of the surreal. CLICK HERE for more info on both exhibitions.

The 15-Year Anniversary Group Exhibition will be an immersive gathering featuring outstanding new works from over 100 artists. Part two of the group show will premiere at CHG on May 22, with more details and the line-up to be announced. CLICK HERE for info on the Anniversary show.
